DIY Lip Scrub

A few days ago I was sitting in my bed and remembered that I wanted a lip scrub. So I watched a few Youtube videos about DIY lip scrubs and made an idea about the products you need.
I jumped out of my bed and went into the kitchen to look for the ingredients. I found everything I needed so the ingredients are pretty common. Some of them are optional, I just had them lying around and decided to use them for something.

You will need/ I used:

-sugar (you can use brown sugar but it will change the color)

-olive oil

-lip balm (optional for color or you could use food colorant)

-glycerin (optional for sweetness)

-I also used a little bit of lip-gloss

-a jar

  1.    You need to melt the Vaseline and the lip balm. You can put it in the microwave for a few minutes.

  2.     Then mix half a teaspoon olive oil with half a teaspoon glycerin into the jar.
  3.   Add the Vaseline and the lip balm. Stir well and quick before they become hard again.

    4.     Add one teaspoon of sugar or more if you want it to be harder. If it is to hard add more oil.

    How to use:
I find that the best way is to massage it into your lips and to wet your hands afterwards and gently wipe of the sugar from your lips. If you do it like that the moisture would stay on your lips.
You could take a paper towel and remove the sugar but that will absorb the lip balm and the oil or you could leave it onto your lips.

    My opinion on the scrub:
I love it! I can’t believe how good it is. I never thought that a lip scrub would do so much. I kept touching my lips because I was so amazed. The next day when I woke up my lips were still very soft. But don’t take my word for it, just try it! And if you do please let me know what you think!
